Clinsnap acts as your clinic's data processor — you (the doctor/clinic) remain the data owner and are responsible for your patients' consent to digitize their records. Here's exactly what we do with the data.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email, phone, clinic name, working hours, profile photo
- Your patients' data (entered by you): name, contact details, visit notes, appointments, prescriptions, payment records
- Usage data: login activity, AI feature usage, device info
Why we collect it
To run appointment scheduling, patient records, prescriptions, billing, OTP/reminder emails, and — only if you use them — AI summaries. Nothing beyond operating the features you actually use.
Where it's stored
Encrypted, on Indian servers only (Supabase, Mumbai region). Never sold, never shared across clinics, never used for advertising.
AI features
If you use AI Patient Summary or Note Polish, the relevant note/prescription text is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a response. It is not used to train Google's models and isn't retained by Google afterward.
Your rights
You can request your data, correct it, or delete your account (and all linked patient data) anytime from Settings. Deletion is permanent and completes within 30 days — except limited payment records we must keep up to 8 years under Indian tax law.
